       
Self Catering in the Northern Lake District
Friars Cottage is a delightful self-catering cottage in Keswick in the northern Lake District. It is located in a quiet area of the town, but is only 5 minutes level walk from the town centre. The cottage has been tastefully refurbished with extensive use of exposed pine, and is equipped to a very high standard to cater for every need. It provides a comfortable base for couples or families of up to four to explore the Northern Lake District.
Downstairs the cottage has a very
comfortable lounge/diner with TV,
DVD/Video/CD player and a modern,
fully equipped kitchen. There
is also a separate utility room with dishwasher,
freezer,
washer/dryer and WC.
Upstairs is the main double bedroom which is
furnished in attractive pastel shades, a second twin bedded room and
the bathroom complete with an over-bath shower. All bedrooms have
stylish iron bedsteads and quality pine furnishings, plus the occasional
cuddly toy. The cottage has full
gas central heating, hot water supplied by a combi-boiler, and an
electric coal effect fire in the lounge. At the back of the
cottage is a paved garden area with patio furniture and a
barbecue. There is ample on-street parking in this quiet
area of Keswick.
